Kanban

Kanban is a visual summary which simplifies workflow management. In 2dview, it is designed especially for artists to visualize the current scenario of tasks assigned to them at one glimpse. Viewing every piece of work at one place helps to understand the workflow, schedule the deliverables, discuss on feedbacks to be addressed, make a note on tasks in progress and so on.

Here is the view of the 2dview Kanban board.

  • Each Kanban card summarize status details with Show name, Shot code, Task type, Task code, End date, Priority and Accountable.
  • All the tasks will be categorized according to their work statuses. So, it would be easier to analyze the statuses of tasks at one glance.
  • To change the statuses, simply drag and drop the Kanban cards in the respective status. For example, you can change the status of the Not Started shot to WIP by dragging and dropping it.
  • Changing the status in Kanban will reflect globally.
  • Customize the Kanban board by clicking on the settings button, a side drawer opens titled Kanban Settings.
  • In Kanban Settings, a status list view is available in various parameters such as Approved, Internal Approved, WIP, Not Started, Omit, On Hold, Feedback, Need Assistance, Review and Completed
