Studio settings

In 2dview Studio settings, the admin can manage Display, Security, SMTP, Storage Authentication, Backup Server, Worklog and FFmpeg related settings

***Only the admin can manage Studio Settings.

Display Settings

If you are an admin

  • Click on the Settings button on the bottom left corner.
  • It would redirect you to the Settings Page, click on Display.
  • The Display settings page would ask for the following details.
  • Select Language*, Week Starts On*, Weekends*, Date Format*, Time Format* and Time Zone* from the dropdown list.
  • Click on Submit to save the settings.

Security Settings

If you are an admin

  • Click on the Settings button on the bottom left corner.
  • It would redirect you to the Settings Page, click on Security.
  • The Security settings page would ask for the following details.
  • Activation email expires in minutes*, Maximum Login attempt*, Minimum time to unblock in hours* and Session expiry in hours* under the Authentication tab.
  • Under Password tab, enter the Password expiry in days* and Complexity Level* from the dropdown box.
  • Click on submit to save the settings.

Storage Authentication Settings

If you are an admin

  • Click on the Setting button on the bottom left corner.
  • It would redirect you to the Settings Page, click on Storage Authentication Settings..
  • Click on Add Server Details to add a new storage and it would ask for the following details.
  • User Name*, Password* and Server URL*.
  • After specifying the details click on Submit to save the settings.

Note: If needed the storage can be removed, by clicking on the Remove button.

Backup Server

If you are an admin

  • Click on the Setting button on the bottom left corner.
  • It would redirect you to the Settings Page, click on Backup Server.
  • Click on Add Server Details to add a new storage and it would ask for the following details.
  • User Name*, Password* and Server URL*.
  • After specifying the details, click on Submit to save the settings.

Note: If needed the storage can be removed, by clicking on the Remove button.

Others

If you are an admin

  • Click on the Settings button on the bottom left corner.
  • It would redirect you to the Settings Page, click on Others.
  • Enter the FFmpeg Settings as per the studio requirements.
  • Click on Submit to save the settings

Work log

If you are an admin

  • Click on the Settings button on the bottom left corner.
  • It would redirect you to the Settings Page, click on Worklog.
  • In Worklog limit, enter the number of days to limit worklogs.

    Prevent user from logging timesheet entries based on the mentioned number of days in the input.  If the provided number was 7 user will be only able to enter logs for 7 days prior to the current date.

  • Then, enter the Manhours based on studio requirement. 
  • Click on the check box of Manhours limit to restrict the additional worklog hours. This enables to add worklogs based on the manhours provided in the above manhours parameter. 
  • Calculation method is provided to calculate the worklogs based on manhours and mandays, which can be beneficial in Actual vs Achieved mandays calculation and in reports.
