A sequence is a reference for a breakdown of shots. Though it looks optional, it plays a vital role in most of the shows. It is essential to combine the sequences properly with shows and shots. In 2dview, adding a sequence is easily done with a few clicks. The sequence can be added in 3 different methods, and you can choose any, based on your convenience.
Add Sequence
In the first method, go to Show listing and select the show, wherein you can view Show overview.
Select the Sequences available as a tab above the datatable in Show Overview. This click redirects to Sequence section.
Click on Add icon to add a sequence. A side drawer titled Add Sequence displays, wherein *Show, Episode, *Sequence & Sequence Description details to be filled.
With duly filled details, click on “Add icon” and the new Sequence gets added.
If any modification or deletion is to be done, can be easily accessed with edit / delete buttons provided in the Quick actions.
Search option is available to narrow down the results on Sequences.

Linking Sequences
To link the Shots with Sequence, while adding a shot, select the Sequence in which the added shot needs to be displayed.
Universal Button
The second method of adding sequence is adding through Universal button.
Click on the Universal button. A side drawer opens with titled Add New.
Select the Sequence in the Add New menu.
Then the entire process, as mentioned above, is to be followed to add the Sequence.
In addition to that, mention the show name while adding the sequence.
Ingestion – CSV
Finally, one more way to add Sequence is adding through ingestion.
Multiple shots can be easily added through the “CSV” ingestion method.
While ingesting shots, include the sequence in the desired column in CSV file. This leads to add sequence along with shots automatically.
