Episode Creation

Episodes are used in TV Series to get milestones of what is going to be telecasted on a specific date. A Season in a TV series comprises multiple episodes. In 2dview, we have provided a simple way to interlink the shots with Episodes.

Add Episode

Episodes are available as a tab over the datatable.

Episode Section

To add an Episode, go to tabs available above the datatable, Select Episode, which will redirect to Episode section.
Then, click on Add icon, a side drawer titled Add Episode will be shown with *Show, Season Name, *Episode name and Description.

With duly filled details, click on “Add icon” and a new Episode gets added.
If any modification or deletion is to be done, it can be easily accessed with edit/delete buttons provided in the Quick actions.

Search option is available to narrow down the results on Episodes.

Mandatory

Linking Episodes

To link the Shots with Episodes, go to the Sequence section after creating a new Episode.
Fill the Episode reference under the column titled Episode Name by clicking on the edit icon in the column. Edit Episode menu opens, select required episodes from dropdowns and click on save.

This enables the shots under the sequence to be linked with given Episode.

Universal Button

Also, we can create the Episode through the Universal button.

Click on the Universal Button, then select “Episode” from Add New.
A side drawer displays, wherein the Show name needs to be included and rest of the procedures mentioned above to be processed and the Episode will be created.
Adding the show name ensures the episode added through the Universal button gets merged with the respective show.
