Playlist
Playlist feature is used for reviewing the shots, systematically. With this systematic way of reviewing shots, we could send & receive feedback, comments, approvals and much more swiftly and efficiently.
Playlist feature is available for Supervisors, Producers, Head of studio, Clients and IO, Artist.
- Playlist has three divisions :
- Dailies
- Internal playlist
- External playlist
Dailies:
In 2dview, the artist can publish a temporary version for quick reviewing purpose. This version of publishing is referred to as Dailies version. The version which is added in Dailies by the artist will be populated here.
Dailies is an automatically generated playlist. All versions which are added to the Dailies by the artist will be displayed here. Everything is categorized under the automatically generated playlist which is named after date.

Internal playlist:
In 2dview, the version which is published for internal reviewing purpose is referred to as the internal version. All versions which are added as internal versions by the artist will be displayed under the Internal division of Playlist.

External Playlist:
In 2dview, the versions which are published for clients to review are referred to as external versions. External playlist consist of external versions or client versions. Only External versions can be shared with clients for reviewing purpose.

The Supervisor or Producer has four types of playlists:
- Dailies
- Internal playlist
- External playlist
- Archive
Playlist for Supervisors:
Playlists will be quite helpful for Supervisors in reviewing the shot. The supervisor can review the shot in Dailies playlist and Internal playlist. For more details about Dailies, Internal playlist and External playlist refer Publishing documents .
Playlist for Artist:
Playlist list option is also available for artists but with read only option. The artist cannot modify or create the playlist but can view them.
Artists can view internal, external and archive playlist for reference. The playlist which is shared by the supervisor to artist only displayed here. Search & Filter option provided to filtering out the desired results.
