Show Creation

The entire production process begins with the creation of the Show. Within the show, we will be including Shots, Tasks, Assets, Episodes, Seasons and so on in an organized way to have a swift and smooth workflow.

Add Show
  • In the Show Listing, click on the universal add button.
  • Select Show from the add new side drawer to add a new show.
  • Fill in all the required parameters such as Show Name*, Show Thumbnail, Show Description, Assign Users, Select Templates, View all Fields and Custom Fields.
Assigning Users to Shows

You can add users as a group or individual artist from the list of enrolled users in the platform.

  • Select Assign Users from the Add New Show side drawer. This will open the second section of the drawer to the right.
  • You can select the entire group as a whole or a few artists from the group under the Select groups dropdown. Groups are very useful in organizing the people to add for a show. Click here to know how to create a group.
  • If you want to add a single user, select the user from Select users dropdown, who are not in the group or the missed artists list, this option comes handy.
  • The same way, add the Supervisor and Producer from the Select Supervisors and Select Producers from the dropdown.
  • Return to the Add new show drawer by clicking on it.
Selecting Templates

The admin usually designs the Templates as per the studio requirements, here you can invoke the templates designed for the show. Here, you can call the template specially designed for one show, one shot and Multiple Packing templates.

To Select the templates

  • Select Templates from the Add New Show side drawer, this will open the second section of the drawer to the right.
  • Select Show template*, Shot template* and Packing template from the dropdown list.
  • These templates are designed to define how a folder structure is to be maintained for Show, Shot and Packing.
  • In general, the studio will have a typical pattern of managing the folder structure across all the shows.
  • Return to the Add new show drawer by clicking on it.
All Fields

All fields carry all the other options required for creating a show including Storage paths, Client and the Mandatory information while onboarding a Shot.

To Select the All fields

  • Select All fields from the Add New Show side drawer, and this will open the second section of the drawer to the right.
  • Select Client* from the dropdown available. Clients are usually created in admin and invoked here.
  • Select the Select Mandatory Fields for Shot Onboarding from the dropdown. This is the mandatory information to get the shot online to offline.
  • Select the Server URL and Server path from the dropdown which got configured in the admin panel.
  • Return to the Add new show drawer by clicking on it.
Custom Fields

If any custom fields created in Admin Panel, the same will reflect here.

To Select the Custom Fields
  • Select Custom Fields from the Add New Show side drawer. This will open the second section of the drawer to the right.
  • Fill the required input, here Package is a text value grabbed on show level.
  • Return to the Add new show drawer by clicking on it.

Finally, click on the Add icon and a new show will be created.

The shows can be edited and deleted by using edit / delete in the More Options icon available in the top section of Show overview of the respective show.

We can switch from one show to another show, without switching over the show page to Showlisting, with just a click on the show filter available on the top right corner of show page.
