Daybook

Daybook is an essential aspect of the studio workflow. The deliverables of the current date display automatically every day. This helps to start the day in an organized way and to focus on the scheduled tasks.

  • Daybook displays current date deliverables with status and is grouped based on the show.
  • You can also view any past or upcoming dates delivery schedules in Daybook.
  • The Daybook Summary provides data on total number of clients, shows, tasks to be delivered along with total count of tasks based on status parameters and are customizable.
  • This view can be saved, based on the user preferences.
  • The sub-tasks will be populated in Daybook, separately.
  • Three main ETA schedules are provided as default, i.e. Client ETA, End date and Delivery Date. Select the required ETA from dropdowns and choose a date from the calendar to view the desired data.
  • “Search & Filter” options are provided for quick navigation.
  • Click on Filter and a side drawer opens, fill the required content to view the desired results.
  • Through Filter, you can view specific Client, Show, Shot, Task, Asset, Artists, Accountable, Task type, Work status and Priority.
  • You can easily switch between shots and assets with the help of the toggle button shot|Asset. If you need to add any notes, you can simply click on the “quick actions” button on the side.
  • To look at any previous date’s deliveries, select the date and view the shots statuses which helps you to track any delivery that has been missed out or skipped.
  • Similarly, for future deliveries, select date and view shots statuses to ensure that your schedule is on track and not to miss any deadlines.
  • Click on Columns to view more details related to deliverables.
  • Required Columns could be added by choosing the required such as Task name, Task type, Status, Shot Code, Asset Name, Progress, Priority, ETA, Frame range, Last Version, Client, Artists, Accountable, Start date, End date, Delivery date and Client ETA, without switching to the Show/Task page.

Supervisors & Producers Daybook reflects the deliverables of projects handled by them, whereas IO Daybook displays the deliverables of all projects.
